How does my gift benefit the Chinese Community?

TCCSA provides educational, social, cultural and recreational services which help Chinese immigrants adapt to life in Canada and become independent members of our society. Services include:

English as a Second Language classes
citizenship preparation
information counselling
Chinese school for children
information seminars
recreational activities

What is the Toronto Chinese Community Endowment Fund?

It is a capital fund which benefits the organization and programs of the Toronto Chinese Community Services Association. Capital in the fund earns annual income to be used as a long term source of revenue for TCCSA.

How is the Endowment Fund related to TCCSA?

The Fund is a separately incorporated and registered charitable foundation. It provides an independent source of funds to help TCCSA meet the growing needs of the Chinese Community in Toronto.

When I make an Endowment gift, can I specify how the Funds will be used?

Yes. You can provide that your gift is to be held intact as capital, and the annual income designated for funding one of TCCSA’s programs. For example, you could specify your gift to be directed to the children’s Chinese school for children.

Can I use a gift to the Endowment Fund to honour the name and memory of a family member or other love one?

Yes. In making your gift, you can establish a fund in the name of a loved one and specify how the funds are to be used.
